Nigeria’s COVID-19 deaths rise to 590 as country records 561 new cases


A total of 561 new cases of coronavirus infections have been recorded in Nigeria.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, announced the figure on Tuesday.

NCDC said Lagos State recorded 200 cases, while Edo State followed with 119 cases.

Nigeria now has a total of 25,694 confirmed cases and 590 deaths.
